> As the designated Community Action Agency for the City of Los
> Angeles, the Community Development Department prepares and submits
> a Community Action Plan to the State of California every two
> years. That plan must have community input on the recommended
> priorities and strategies of the City to reduce or eliminate
> poverty. The Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Community
> Action Plan for 2010/11 is due to the state by June 30, 2009.
>
> In response to direction from the Community Action Board on
> developing the Community Action Plan, the CDD has taken initial
> steps to solicit community comments. This action resulted in the
> creation of a survey document and a process for getting maximum

> website http://www.lacity.org/CDD/index_two.html. All surveys must
> be completed by Monday, April 13, 2009.
>
